Three big questions shape my research agenda. The first and most recent one is about innovation policy. I investigate how the litigation and innovation markets interact with each other, which factors contributed to the trends in patent litigation environment in the past two decades, and how we can discourage relatively weak patent infringement suits while at the same time strengthen the bargaining power of patentees with robust cases.

The second idea that underlies my research agenda is the role of advertising and media in shaping decisions of households, corporate executives and institutional managers. I also study how consumers respond to mortgage advertising and whether firms use advertising as a strategic tool to respond to litigation events in their environment. My third research area is on how information, especially corporate disclosures, affect asset prices and it flows through various financial networks. In particular, I investigate which factors prevent information to be properly priced and how shocks to trust in financial intermediaries affect household portfolios. Below, I list some of my working and published papers in each of these research interest areas. My other work is listed on my resume.
